Gs1-128 Dropping Characters (Human Redable)
I am creating a barcode for a Newgistics USPS return label. The specs indicate to use Code C with a 420 application identifier and zipcode along with fnc1 characters to separate the sections, and a passed in value for the human readable portion of the barcode. Therefore, I have the following fields on the barcode:
^1
420
56901
^1
92023999999999000000000014
I've hidden all but the last element from human readable visibility.
Printing the barcode drops the 92. Scanning the barcode, it is there.
I've read a few other threads that are similar to this but they don't really help me in understanding or correcting this. I've tried this using the application identifier wizard and manually creating the fields.
What am I missing or doing wrong?

Interestingly enough... I solved this but I am not sure it's the end-all solution.
If I keep the FNC1 visible that is just before this data, the data prints and the 42 that would normally be visible for the FNC1 doesn't;t display.

Have you tried using the Application Identifier wizard as opposed to building up the data source manually. See this white paper: http://www.seagullscientific.com/label-software/whitepapers/gs1-application-identifiers-201406.pdf

The white paper link you listed above sends me to a page that says 'the webpage cannot be found'. I did this on Explorer and Chrome. Do you have another link?
