Win Xp
When Installing on WinXP i get a message saying that the driver is not compatible with the system, since i am running a 32bit version and the driver seems to be the 64bit this may be the problem. But how can i install the 32bit version ?

What is your exact system version? Do you have Windows XP, Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3?
I would strongly recommend updating the system first.
Personally, I have XPSP3 and I don't have single problem with the drivers.0 -

It sounds like you have the printer driver installed on a 64 bit server, and it is then shared out. Now you are trying to install the shared printer to a 32 bit computer, is that correct?
If so, it sounds like you may need to add the 32 bit driver to the print server. This is actually fairly easy to do, but you will need access to the server.
Once you have access just follow these steps:

Open the printers list (printers and faxes, printers, or devices and printers depending on your OS)

Right click on the printer in question and click properties

Go to the Sharing tab

Click Additional Drivers…

Select the x86 option

You’ll be asked for the location of the driver files, the default location for this is C:\Seagull
Once you’ve done that, you should be able to add that shared printer to a 32 bit system.
Hope that helps.0
