Third Party Driver Issues/question Follow
Alright - here's the situation. This is not a Seagull/BarTender issue at all, but it's presenting itself as a challenge.
We have a print press for our labels, and normally design print layouts for it in BarTender. They have provided a third party driver that works well, and we use that driver on all client PCs that are designing, so they can maintain a DPI consistent with the press while designing.
Here's the issue - our new PCs are not compatible with this driver, so I was trying to find a way to spoof the DPI of the press so that people could continue to design. However, BarTender gives me really weird and inconsistent mil size options for this press that I thought was 400 DPI. My mil size options are:
So, BarTender is properly saying that the increment between each size should be 2.5 mil, but the minimum is 3.75 mil. :\ Any ideas why, or how I can replicate this on another PC without this particular driver. This is going to be a design hurdle for any users with the new Win7 64.
Edit: Then when I use another printer driver that lists 3.75 and 6.25 as options, and I apply those, the barcode sizes change by a little bit. So it can't be a true match.
