I don't see a screenshot attached. Try attaching again. Also attach a simple example BarTender document file that demonstrates the issue so we can see what you're doing.

Hmmm, I would imagine this might be either a bad BarTender install or there is a problem with your .NET framework that is installed. Which build of BarTender is this? Check via the "Help>About menu item; the latest is 2845 SR1.

Is this a new label that you're making from scratch, or are you editing an existing label document? Be sure to try this by creating a new document from the beginning, add just the text object and set it up as a date like in your screenshot. At what point in the process does the error message appear? Does BarTender then crash, or does it carry on after you OK the message with the clock object displaying correctly?

    Hi Ian C,

    Thanks for the reply.

I have tried to reinstall the BarTender and my NET framework 3.5 SP1 but the error still exists. Yes, i am using the latest build that is 2845 SR1.

The error occurs when i opened the date format. The Bartender didn't crash but it doesn't display the clock object properly even i hit the OK button on message.
When i check the text format, it reverts back to the previous format.
This is an exiting label that i have made when using Bartender 9.4.

However,I redesign the label again from scratch again at Bartender 10.0 and it works fine.
Maybe there is some relation of this that caused this happen?
Do advise as i have plenty of Bartender template that has been designed using Bartender 9.4. Is it i need to redesign all from scratch in order to prevent this error?

    Thanks.

If you set "Legacy" for the Locale setting of the Date does that help to fix things?

Sorry but where i can set this "Legacy" for the Locale setting of the Date? I scroll down the Locale box, and it gives me the country list.
    Do advise.

    Thanks.

Make sure you set the type of your data source as a "Clock" type, instead of "Embedded Data". The legacy option, should you need it, should then be found at the top of the list for the locale.

I removed the text field that had the problem and created the text again with the date format, the problem is then gone.

I also have checked my labels which are created using 9.4 before, most of all are ok except some labels with the format that is similar to the current one which has the problem.
Guess not that big issue afterall.

Thanks for the support, Ian C
