Right Portion Of The Label With Printed Data Was Cut-off Follow
I have a setup where im using the commander application in a server. the trigger file is created in the server's c:\[sub folder] directory, along with the data & shared printer's location.
sample trigger file:
%BTW% /AF="C:\[sub folder of btw file]\myLabel.btw" /D=<Trigger File Name> /PRN="\\pcName\sharedPrinterName" /R=3 /P /DD
myLabel.btw file is kept in c:\[sub folder of btw file], along with other btw files.
I'm experiencing an ocassional problem during printing. The bartender commands & label data are complete, but during printing, the label comes out with the right-most portion having a vertical cut.the vertical cut is 1/8 of the label layout. please see my attachment for a visual aid.
As a remedy, im stopping the commander service. then, im directly opening the btw file from the server and print data using a dummy trigger file. Then run commander service. It prints the label again as whole.
My suspected root-cause are the following:
1.over-writing the btw file in the server with an edited btw file copy
2.pasting a new btw file in c:\[sub folder of btw file]
However i do not have concrete evidence for this.
Although i have a remedy, i would like to find out what is causing this to make a permanent solution & avoid inconsistency in printing operations.
The printer model is zdesigner 110xiIII plus 600dpi.
I did not try installing the seagull printer driver since the problem occurs ocassionally, and as of opinion, is not related to the problem.
If there is something wrong or missing in what i did, please help me.
Thanks in advance.[attachment=88:label cut 1-8.JPG]
