Printing Position Run Off At Printing Job
Hi,i'm using Bartender Automation Enterprise with printer Zebra 105SL.
I have a problem with its printing job when retrieving data from Excel.
I need to print label with a having designed template. The label has 18 fields and it gets the field data from MS Excel as database. At first,it run perfectly at the first few continuous printings but after a while, the data that get from Excel in label started to run off its position and alignment.
This obviously puzzled me as the label size is according to the template that i designed.I have left sufficient spaces for the data that retrieved from Excel. But,after some printings,it will print at below spaces. The label field name that in bartender is staying at the right position though.
Is there is something that i can look into for solving my problem?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi tbz,
The printer may not detect label end properly from its sensor.
Set printer as gap sensor mode from Print dialog > Document properties > Stock tab > Media type.
(Usually [Non Continuous(Web sensing)], however if your label has black mark at the back, that might be mark sensing.)
Then, Calibrate media from Print dialog > Printer properties > tools tab > Action > Run calibration (or detect length.)0 -

Hi Shotaro,
Thanks for the reply.Actually,i have been looking into that but it still give me the same result. The media i'm using is label with mark(actually, its more like card with black mark behind).I have attached my sample label output here.
As you can see, the top image is the working fine label when the printer start printing. The output should be like this.
The second image occurred when it started to print mass quantity. As you can see,Its position started to run.
The third image baffled me the most as it came out as this after the second image. Now,wherever it prints like more than 30 copies,it will become this directly instead of the second image.Notice that the one that disappeared is the template itself and the field data i put in bartender. The data that getting from Excel file is working fine though.
I would like to know what could be the reason of causing it and any solution to it.Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks..0 -

Try disable printer optimization, from Print dialog > Performance tab, Printer optimization options.
Disabling these may reduce printing speed a little, however the speed difference is not significant in most of case.
(Performance tab is shown on Seagull driver only.)0
