Trouble Creating A Prn File With Barcode Font Code39
Hi,
I'm new to BarTender but my company's been using it for years. I've been tasked with adding a custom field to our shipping label. I loaded our existing BTW file into BarTender, made the desired changes and now want to create a PRN file to be used with our ERP software. I did create one file, but it looks vastly different from the existing one we use. I think maybe it's because the Barcode Font is not Code39? But when I try changing the Font to Code39 in the Barcode Font tab of Document Properties, it isn't saved (when I go back in after clicking OK, the Font is still Code128).
When I reviewed the original project notes from the previous developer with him, he said he remembered having to contact Seagull to make something work. Our current version is not supported anymore, so I'm wondering if anybody here can help. I've attached the current and new files if that helps.

FYI, you do not change barcode symbologies by using the "Font" dropdown. That is only changing the font of your human readable text. You change barcode symbologies by clicking into the barcode properties.

Guru, thanks for your reply. :) That makes sense. I did check the Bar Code value for the images, and they all (including the new one I copied) have "Code 39 - Full ASCII". Any other ideas are greatly appreciated! I have attached the BTW file. Matt

Try to change all your fonts (text objects and human readables) to a Zebra font, Like "Zebra Triumvirate", instead of Arial.

My label
has QR code, it contains all characters under the QR code, if we scan QR
code from PDF, all characters are there. But if we printout the label
from Zebra printer and scan the QR code, the Japanese characters
disappear. any one know the reason why it happens?0 -
