Periodic Error - Field Contains Non Valid Barcode Follow

I am producing approx. 100 labels for each batch. The same template is used for multiple products. This affects that some fields are not always used. All content is collected from a database.

My problem is that sometimes one of the fields is printed out on every other label. Label 1,3,5,7, etc... is containing this field. The content of the field is a very short barcode which can not be written by any device.

If we look into our database the field is empty.

If we print it out Again, the error is not occuring.

Does anyone with experience in this field, have any clue where to dig in for a solution? What is most likely from your point of view?

I am using Bartender 10.0 SR2 on a Windows 7 enterprise x64 machine.

Any advise would be appriciated.

I have seen this. There is basically a barcode with no data being generated. Make sure you're using Seagull drivers if at all possible. Then, you can try changing the "Print Method" of that barcode to be controlled by BarTender or the Printer and see if either has different results.

The failsafe solution is to programatically suppress the barcode object if the data is less than length 1...
