Seagull: Recycling V1.0 - Print To Adobe Pdf
Hi
I have a number of labels that use the Green Dot symbol within the Seagull: Recycling v1.0 font. (A word doc showing a screenshot of the symbol is attached). When supplying labels to client I first need to send them an Adobe pdf of the labels for approval.
However I get the following errors (in a text file)
"%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%

Why don't you print out the label and scan it to a PDF ... not ideal but it will get you out of your bind.

That is not an option unfortunately - not when you a printing upwards of 1000 orders a day...

Hi Nicky,
Seagull fonts are designed to use with BarTender - so do not embed the font for different use.
Besides Do you use the latest (though haven't heard a new release recently) distiller software?
There might be a setting to "do not send font to distiller" or TrueType font setting to embed or not etc, to avoid embed font.
And thanks Slickson - I always like to have another solution, even that might sounds like coming from a galaxy far far away.

If you're just using the font for that one symbol, why not just import that image as an image?

Hi
Thanks for the suggestions... we ended using nRyder's advice and creating an image. Print quality is not as good but it passed the approval process.
