Remote Call To Bartender Follow
Hi,
I have a requirement where I need to make a print request to Bartender on server A from IIB which is hosted on server B ( Remote Call from B to A)
I understand that there is a .NET API which makes it possible to interact with Batender from IIB ( IBM Integration Bus)
I have a existing solution in IIB which interacts/connects with local bartender librarian which is connected to remote Bartender SQL Server and the print solution works.
However the case is I need to make a call to Bartender ( say in Server A ) which also hosts its system DB SQL Server from IIB which is in server B. Can I make remote call to Bartender ?

You might want to use the Integration Platform in BarTender 2016, and use something like the web service message event type for making your requests.
Thanks Ian. Is web service message event type part of .NET API in Bartender 2016?
Just to make sure if my previous question is clear - Is it possible to make remote call to Bartender from a different server?
Nope not yet. Your best bet is to use the Integration Platform middleware of BarTender 2016 as it fully supports web services.
Thank You. It would be helpful if you could give a reference link for Integration Platform middleware of BarTender 2016.
Can you please confirm if I can achieve remote call to Bartender from IIB using Bartender 10(i.e earlier version)?
Integration Platform is only part of BarTender 2016: http://www.seagullscientific.com/media/101724/bartender-integration-builder-201511.pdf
