not seeing the application after install

    After the installation has completed you should have a BarTender 2022 Program group accessible via your Windows Start button and if you expand that there should all the BarTender applications including the main BarTender Designer program

    It doesnt give me the option to open bartender designer

    its only open, run as admin

    i run as admin and it asks if i want to repair, modify or remove

    i click modify and it goes thru the motions and thats as far as i get. the install doesnt pop up after installation , to ask for my passkey

    I would suggest you may need to contact Seagull's Tech team directly and ask for assistance with this. It sounds like something is stopping the installation from completing. You can contact them via the three lines button above and Submit a Request option. 

    It maybe worth checking that there are no Windows updates pending/need installing on the PC as this can sometimes cause an issue and also that the system spec matches the requirements, see

    You could also deleting the downloaded installation file and download it again in case the file has become corrupted before once again running the installer. 

    The last time I can remember seeing something like this was with issues with the Microsoft .NET elements not installing correctly near the start of the installation process and these had to be installed manually/separately first. I believe this issue was resolved some time ago though.

    Did you fully uninstall the previous version of BarTender before installing the new version?  I have seen with other releases that it sometimes fails to properly uninstall/reinstall if you just run the update without uninstalling the previous version first.  For example, once it failed install the BarTender integration service!

    When this happens, I uninstall the new release, reboot then reinstall the new release.  That has fixed it for me every time.
