Database Lookup Follow
Hi,
I have only recently stated using Bartender, I have some vb experience all I am trying to do is scan a Barcode then lookup the value in a database and print the second column that has a different value.
Does any one have a sample or can point me to some examples. I can get it to work if I use commander but bartender must be able to do this within the main program.
Thanks ,
Richard

Hello Richard,
What you are describing is how to set up a query prompt inside of BarTender.
We actually have a training video that discusses this, please click here to watch it. The part that discusses doing a manual entry for a query starts at 4:16, but you will probably want to watch the entire thing to get a grasp on the different ways this can be done.
