Fill In Fields From Database
Hi,
I am relatively new to using Bartender (v9.3) and I have a possibly complex, maybe impossible, question.
I have attached a JPEG image that tries to help convey what I know I will have trouble describing.
On my label, I have SCANNED PART NUMBER (in the JPEG file) something that is created by scanning a barcode on a workorder at the time of printing.
I would like the label to take that data and find it in a column of a database, then fill in "Database A" and "Database B" fields from this information. This may be a partial Excel question also.
I really hope that this question make a small modicum of sense. And any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

I guess you made the part number item a user prompt instead of a database query prompt. See the below training videos on how to connect to a database, including Excel, and how to create a query prompt in order to find and select individual records based on a prompted value.

Thank you for the information. Each of those links appears to be broken when I click on it though. (File Not Found)

Hmmm, it looks like the URL shortening of the forum is messing things up.
The videos can be found on this page:

Items to click are, "Reading Label Data from a Database or Excel Spreadsheet" and "Selecting Records from a Database at Print Time".0
