Database Opens When Printing

Hello,

 

I've got a label that's linked to a Excel database to get the product list that we select a record when printing.

 

We can also select a list of countries that's are also in the same spreadsheet, just on another tab.

 

The only problem is that during printing it opens the spreadsheet.

 

Is there anyway of stopping this happen?

 

I've attached the label as well as the database.

  When you say, "opens the spreadsheet" do you mean that it opens the file in the Excel application window?  That should not happen at all when connecting to an Excel file in BarTender.  Are you connecting to the XLS file in any way other than via the BarTender database connection setup wizard?

  Yes, it physically opens the sheet in Excel.

   

  We also pull a list from the sheet by using VBA. On the example I attached its countries.

   

  I've only attached an example, however the actual sheet has 7 sheets which various labels link to for different customers and 5 sheets that just contain lists.

  Nothing in the BTW you sent us would open up the Excel application window.  There has to be something else you are doing that causes this.

   

  BTW: BarTender 2016 supports the filling of pull down lists with data sourced from a separate data table: http://www.seagullscientific.com/label-software/barcode-label-design-and-printing/
