Printing A Barcode Code128 From Crystal
Hi
Has anyone come across and have a resolution for my issue? Your help will be very much appreciated. :)
We are going through a migration to Windows 7. One of our apps isn't support with Windows 7 so we have to upgrade this app as well. As part of testing the app upgrade Crystal has also been upgraded on our clients to Cystal Reports 2008 Runtime SP4. Now the reports don't print the barcode which is a Code128 font setup within the print driver. Instead it prints the letters and numbers. If I go to Microsoft Word a barcode is printed.
So this to me appears to be a Crystal Reports Issue.
Can anyone help please.
Regards
Steve

Have you checked if after upgrade to Windows 7 yor label still has the proper Barcode Font? Please note that if the Font doesn't exist with the exact same name in your application, the font will be substituted.

If Crystal Reports 2008 Runtime SP4 is based on .NET Framework, then that's why you're having this problem. .NET Framework doesn't natively support printer fonts, and a bar code font is a printer font.

Yes I have checked and we have the correct barcode font name.
Are all the runtime versions based on .NET or is there a specific runtime version I need

My label has QR code, it contains all characters under the QR code, if we
scan QR code from PDF, all characters are there. But if we printout the
label from Zebra printer and scan the QR code, the Japanese characters
disappear. Do you might know the reason why it happen?0
