Hi:

There are four mian possibilities this 3605 error message will show up
1) One is possible design problems, it is possible to reproduce on the other computer.
2) The more common reason is computer resources not enough for application to run at that specific time. After closing some other unused programs or application, the error will be gone. Or after reboot the computer, the occupied resources will be free. There will be no problems as well
3) The last possibility is the driver install mess up cause weird sympton
From your description, you might need to check if your printer driver is installed properly
4) customer run commander with specific conditions

I would suggest you contact our local office http://www.seagullscientific.com/aspx/technical-support.aspx for more specific help on this 3605 error message

Thanks!

In addition - BarTender 9.4 has newer service release 9.4.2781(SR3), so you can try update BarTender
(though I cannot assure the update would solve the problem)

You can download Service releases from our Service releases site

Thank you for your answer.
1) It's reproduced on another server with another printers.
2) I've checked it by Windows counters. It looks like good.
3) We updated BarTender in April from version 9.2 to 9.4, before that we didn't have time problem.

I have got that error when having Empty strings in a database field used for printing Barcodes - (we print blank labels between to separate one type of labels from another) - this was on BarTender 9.4 SR1. This worked fine when using BarTender 8.01.

Hi njbjorn,
There's problem when you give empty datasource to barcode in BarTender 9.4, which fixed in 9.4SR2.
Please update Your BarTender 9.4SR1 to 9.4SR3 from our Service Releases site.

We have version 9.4 SR3 and are still getting the Error Message 3605. Using Windows 7, Latest Bartender Driver. Any suggestions what might be the issue as also this is a brand new Dell Vostro 260 computer as well with 4GB of installed RAM.

We are using Batch Maker to print a run of files over and over, incrementing each time. And at any given time we get that error.

On our old XP computer we where getting a GDI Issue, but the program didn't close and kept working, now we are getting this issue with Windows 7 and a much faster computer with more on board memory.

Any Suggestions?
