Also, if you have BarTender installed, the help system explains all of this:
When you design templates and the data for one or more objects will not be known until print-time, you can configure BarTender to display a data entry form at the start of a print job which allows you to enter the necessary data. For example, you may need to print a standard shipping label which includes the weight of a package, but the weight of the package may be not be known until print-time.

When you enable data entry for a data source, BarTender creates an object on the data entry form, which will display each time a user executes a print job. The object, also known as a data entry control, consists of a text label, prompting the user for input, and a reply object (text box, drop-down list or list box) containing the user's input. If desired, there can be up to one control requesting input for each object on the template.

You may have two or more objects on the template contain the same data, but you do not want to specify the data multiple times. In these cases, you can name a data source in one object, and then share its text contents with another data source on the template. Any of the data source types (embedded data, database field, VB Script, etc.) can share data with other data sources.

How could I link the named data sources to dropdown menu in the data entry form so each time the costumer ask for some catalog number, they could select from the dropdown menu the catalog they want and then that information will be printed...

Any idea will be great !
