Basic Scripting Help Follow

I need some help with something basic.  I am trying to figure out how to sum two different cells from a database and display them as a single currency value, with a minimum of three digits, so 0 + 0 = $0.00.  When I use '+', it seems to concatenate them, so it can't see them as a number.  For example, I have 4.77 and 5.02, I have used some VB scripting to get them to display '4.775.02', which won't work.  How do I get it to display '9.79'.  I then can take that and make it '$ 9.79', which is what I prefer.

I am using Bartender Automation 9.3.  Please help.

I believe your issue lies in how VBScript is interpreting the two data sources. (ie. text vs value) Can you add ".value" in your script when you have it pull from the database sources? See picture. Posting what Scripting you already have will help diagnose.
