Hi all, im extremely stuck with something for my project here at work, let me explain. It would be a huge help to me if someone can point me in the right direction.

I have an object which has a data source name of ´productiondate´ with value MM-YYY retreived by the data entry form on print time.

I have another object which is expirydate which should get the value from ´productiondate´ with an offset of a value in my SQL database in months.

I know bartender has this option with offset in the software but i need it solved via javascript to retreive the initial value from the productiondate.

Can someone help me out with this?

I partially solved it. Used vb script as data source, single line expression and used the following line:

Format.NamedSubStrings("datasourcename").Value

then at transforms used the offset feature.

Only disadvantage it does not show the actual value in the data entry screen on the picture control. Anyone have an idea about that?

As far as I know, you cannot update the data entry form dynamically, based on already done inputs. I'd be interested in a solution too though.
