Relation Between Bi-Directional Setting On Port And Driver Follow
We are using the seagull driver together with Toshiba TEC printers. Lately we also started with the Toshiba EV4 printers. On this printer we experience that the last 1 o2 labels are not printed when bi-directional support is on for the used port. When we set bi-directional support off all labels in a job are printed. We did not experience this before with the Toshiba SX5 printers.
The problem is that when we set bi-directional support on the port off then also bi-directional support on the driver (for all printers on the server)is set to off. Then it is also not possible anymore to work with the configuration sharing option of the driver. Why is there a relation between the port setting (as far as I know for communication between port and printer) and the driver setting (as far as I know for communication between driver and client software).
Thanks in advance,
