[Solved] Installation On Win2008R2 Print Cluster
I am having troubles installing the Seagull drivers 7.3.1 for a Compact 4 on a Windows 2008 R2 print cluster.
I get two error messages before the installation stops.
Here is the first one: Unable to install D-O- MP Compact4 Mark II (203) Type 3 - User Mode, x64 driver. Operation could not be completed (error 0x800f0204)
After clicking "OK" the second one appears: Failed to add driver. Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000578)
Has anyone experianced this or has a similar print server construct which worked with these drivers?

Installing the driver on each node via the control panel worked for me.0 -
I have the same problem, can you repost the PDF with instructions.
EDIT:
My printer is a 182-PC
First error is 0x00000242
Second error is 0x00000578

Jens: I cannot remember what that PDF might have been which was posted to the previous forum that we hosted. I suggest you take a look at some of the below articles on installation.

I also recommend you download and install the latest version of the printer driver, rather than an older version such as v7.3.1 like was used in the original post.

Hi Ian,
non of the articles mention a Windows 2008 R2 print cluster which this thread is about.
I downloaded the drivers from your site today.
The printer is with ethernet.
