Seagull TCP Library warning in event viewer.
Hey folks,
I have a server that uses BarTender 10.1 and Commander to print pallet labels, generated via trigger files. Out of 6 SATO printers, one keeps throwing out a warning in the server event viewer every time a file is sent to the printer. The warning reads, "Seagull TCP Library for splwow64exe" and/or "Seagull TCP Library for spoolsvexe." The details show "0000421.468:TCPSocketWithReUse: Read Failed: ID: 0x00000008CA48FF850. Host:Weaver-Laptop, Port:6160" I've reinstalled the Seagull SATO drivers on the server and the host computer. The printer is shared on the host computer, but on the server side the printer is installed manually through a created local port (ex. \\PC-Name\Printer-Name), as instructed by Seagull tech support. I have restarted the spooler service, and even the server, but no change.
Has anyone had this issue before and if so how can I remedy it? I'm attaching a picture of the event viewer so you can see just how frequently this is happening.

I am having the same issue. I have to hosts the are giving the event. We are running Bartender 10.1 SR4 on Server 2008R2.
we have 3 Zebra printers on that host ( a lot of hosts have the exact same printers). Without error. All of our printers use Seagull's drivers.
The printers are shared, and when we install a label printer onto this server, it is added as a local printer.
Anyone has an idea?

Same problem. After installing the newest driver (2022) the problem is fixed.
