Serialized label data and multiple print users
We serialize many products at time of shipment using Enterprise. Today, we have a centralized print station which is inefficient and wish to install print stations for all shipping lanes.
A portion of a serial number we use is a 4 digit string that is incremented by one for each printed label. The file is then saved to preserve the string.
Is it possible to have multiple Bartender users access the same file at the same time to print labels for items and still preserve the string of data?
How is the data manipulated to avoid potential for duplicates?

Try configuring a Global Data Field and make this serialised and then make the label field connect to that.
You may need to have a centralised System Database for this however (Enterprise edtion) so that the all the BarTender instances are connected to the same Global field
