Writing Windows based driver

Hi,

I am trying to write a windows based driver for a printer, I wanted to know what format does bartender send the print data to the printers?

 

Is it XPS, Open XPS or any other format ?

  This is a forum for users to share information rather than for development type issues and so I am guessing not a lot of users have tried writing their own drivers and have just used the ones available. 

  Having previously looked at the output sent to certain thermal printer drivers like your Zebras, Tec, Intermec and the like the information is output in the appropriate Printer language such as ZPL/EPL for the Zebra's etc. I dont know if this is the case for all the makes and models but is for these type of devices from my experience
