Print commands to SmartDate x60 Follow

Hello,

Same situation as the post (from 2014 and unresolved)

basically getting a windows print spool issue when sending the print command to the SmartDate X60.

Our VLANs are a little tricky so hopefully its just a network issue but seeing if anyone has had success in using bartender to issue print commands to this type of printer (or a similar model from markem imaje).

We'll keep trying some things and see how we go.. if we resolve the issue I'll post what the fix was.

Update:

The gateway was not set in the X60 unit and now that it is we are not getting a printer spool error. The print command is not going through however. on the Windows PC we are using the print job used to read "error" but now it just says "waiting" so some progress and still going though some options of what it could be.

The TCP/IP port used by the XC60 for data is not he standard 9100 RAW port and so you need to change this in the driver. I cant remember what it was (it is in the manual somewhere) but I think it was either port 20000 or 40000.
