Commander identifies files but takes no action
I'm working with Commander v 9.4 SR3 and recently encountered an issue. I have several tasks that were working just fine, but then suddenly they've become stuck in a loop where Commander identifies a file, finds it, but fails to take an action. Specifically, the status will change from "Scanning" to "File Found" but then immediately reverts back to "Scanning" without taking action.
I've tried running Commander both as an application and a service, have created brand new tasks, tested to confirm my printers are functional, etc. to no avail. Has anyone else had a similar issue? Thanks!

Hi Steven,
Thank you for reaching us in our Community Forums.
We might be running into an issue related to permissions here. Could you try accessing the application and running these tasks as a Domain Administrator?
Remember the user interacting with these files would need full access to all the directories that Bartender labels/files are stored. Are you using mapped drives? If so, we could also try changing the path of the scanning location to full UNC and test whether Commander can find the files.

Hi Xabier,
Thanks for your reply. I've tried running as an application (and also as a service) and in both cases the user account leveraged had full admin access. Using a network path scan location still results in Commander detecting the file, but then reverting back to scanning.
I did an additional test where I set the scan location to be a local folder on the C drive; in this case, the file was detected and the file extension modified, but no further action was taken (printing of label nor deletion of file), although the task list does show that specific task as being executed. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi Jose
Unfortunately I wasn't able to fix it. I ended up just migrating over to newest version of Bartender and now utilize the Integration Builder module. It's actually got some solid features and I'm pretty happy with it...no issues so far.
