Print products by looking ordered qty from SQL Database
Hi,
I'm looking for a solution for my problem. I have got SQL database connected to Bartender 2016 and I able to print from Bartender & Web Application. I'm using record picker function for the user to be able to select what to print. However it takes long time to print each products and I want this to be automated as possible.
I would like number of required labels to be printed by the user who would select the PO/Batch and once it has selected then it would print the list by products by number of copies. The number of copies would get printed by looking the "ordered quantity" field.
For example: In te database I have got the below.
Batch No: MFPO1234 (The user would chose this from the list)
Including:
- product-1 Order qty: 10
- product-2 Order qty: 5
- product-3 Order qty: 20
- ...
So, once you hit for the printer button than it would be automatically print the number of copies of each product from the selected PO/Batch.
I hope it makes sense.
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Zsolt

Hi Zsolt,
Thank you for reaching us via our Community Forum.
I believe what we are trying to accomplish can be done by following this action plan:- Open your BarTender document.
- Select Print:
- Under the 'Quantity Tab' select the wizard button (looks like a hand and a document) to the right of the 'Copies' field:
- You should see the 'Specify quantity in print dialog' option selected.
- Check the 'Allow record selection dialog to override copies' option:
- Hit OK.
- Back in the Print dialog, hit the 'Select records' button:
- You should now see a quantity field.
- Click the Quantity field and type a quantity to print per record.
And that should be it. Let us know if this worked for you!
0 - Open your BarTender document.
