Logging onto Reprint Console (RDP) with different account doesn't connect to database.
Bartender was installed with the Domain Administrator account.
A security change means we will no longer have access to this account.
Logging on with a different domain account, doesn't allow the use of the reprint console, the error is:
Unable to connect to Bartender System Database.
What needs to be updated to enable printing from other accounts?

If you can access it, I would suggest you open Administration Console and check what Security Settings are configured

Hi Peter,
It appears that I have no security configured for the print server.
I assume that negates the security piece entirely, or should I configure it.

No I wouldnt switch it on if you cant access the System Database already.
I take it the System Database was configured previously and BarTender was set to log the print job information to it?
What version and edition of BarTender are you using?
What information is shown in the System Database Screen in Admin Console and can you use the Wizard to grant you access to it?

I'm pretty sure it's related to the MSSQL database, the error is "Unable to connect to the BarTender System Database."
I suspect its something to do with a service that isn't started.
Essentially Bartender it was installed as the domain admin and now I have to use a domain admin account (another user that is an admin) Bartender (or rather the database) isn't able to confirm the credentials of the new account.

You should be able to check the status of the appropriate services from the option at the bottom of the left hand column in Administration Console
