    Thank you for reaching us via our forums!

    The first thing we would suggest you check is whether you are using the latest Service Release for your BarTender Version; you can find your BarTender Version's Service Release information in BarTender Designer's "Help > About" menu and our latest BarTender version download files here. If your BarTender version is not up to date, please update it to the latest revision; please, review our article on Updating to BarTender to the Latest Revision.

    Once updated, if you are still experiencing performance issues, I would suggest reaching our Professional Services department or a BarTender Reseller, as they could offer help with BTXML and BarTender environment optimization in exchange for a quote.
