Filtering Excel DB
Hello,
we use Excel files to record our serial numbers. They look like the screenshot below.
Is it possible to filter those records that in the final "record picker" at the print dialog looks like
I have no experience with sql queries. But ignoring the first 9 rows would help.
The second question is. Is it possible to ignore the first 9 rows for the print dialog, but still use the information from those rows for the label? It would be nice, so I just have to change the DB, but the label template is always the same.
Kind regards, Chris

For the first part, in the Database Setup Table selection screen you can set the range for BarTender to use and so you could start from A10 to the end (or beyond existing)
For the second part, as far as I am aware you would not be able to reference those elements directly.

Hello,
thank you for the fast answer. Is it possible, that this feature is not available in version 2016 R9?
My "Select Table" screen looks quite different.

I no longer have access to 2019 but I believe it is still there, perhaps on one of the later screens after you "Finish"

Sorry for the late answer, but for the sake of completeness...
After updating to 2022, it works and I have the new db wizard.
