Label Prints Template and Data; Only Want Label with Data
I recently created two new barcode and text label templates.
For each of these new labels, when it is printed, it will first print the template itself with the field names, and then it will print the label containing the actual data. So, each print job is printing two labels. I want it to print only the label containing the actual data.
I have older label templates in BarTender that do not do the same thing. Those only print the label with the actual data.
I've compared settings between the two (older that works correctly; newer that double-prints), but I find that they are the same. Print preview shows only a single label, not "two pages" of labels.
I've browsed this form and various support portal pages looking for similar issues without any luck. I did find an almost similar issue in https://support.seagullscientific.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115001942268-Printing-Two-Labels-When-I-Only-Want-One-Label?input_string=Label%20Prints%20Template%20and%20Data%3B%20Only%20Want%20Label%20with%20Data but that did not help this issue.
Any ideas on what I should check for?

Hello Adrienne!!
Welcome to the BarTender Community Forums!
Can you please share a screenshot of the Record Browser from the Database Setup dialog, making sure no relevant or personal information can be seen? Here an example of what we need :)
Thank you!!

Thank you for your suggestion. It led me to the Database Setup settings dialog box for the two labels, where I found an obvious option for including or omitting the first row (e.g. field names). I selected the checkbox marked as "First Record Has Field Names", saved my templates, and the users confirmed it was no longer printing the first label as the template itself. It now only prints the "second" label that contains the real data.
