There are two ways you can achieve this:

    1. Add a Record Picker/Dropdown Record Picker to your Data Entry Form. Once added you can go into the Properties of this object to adjust to match the settings you require, such as making it single record selection only and/or make the selection option a number of labels quantity field etc.

     2. Or add a database filter/query and add a Text input box on to the Data Entry Form. The filter is setup in the Database Setup Screen, such as:

Once you have added the filter then add a Text Input box on to your form and then adjust the Linked Data Source to connect to your filter/prompt.

Please note you can also add a Preview of your label onto the Entry Form which is dynamic and will change when the user selects the database record and you can also add/link other elements to form if you require such as the number of labels/Copies you require etc.

    I hope this helps

If you use Print Station that only allows the users to print and not edit the label in anyway. Depending on your version of the software there are different ways to add extra security to the system and other than Print Station the simplest way is to enable a Print Only Password via the option on the Administer menu
