    Hello Hen,

    Thank you for reaching us via our Community Forums and for the detailed information you've provided us with. When it comes to electronic printing, there are a few caveats we should take into account:

    • Each printer slot in a BarTender license allows for 2000 pdf prints in a 7-day period.
    • Should the limit be exceeded, the license will automatically enter a 30-day grace period where you are allowed more printer slots to allow for a printer replacement for example.
    • Since this is a 1 printer license, the license would only allow 2000 prints in a 7-day period.


    To monitor how many prints have been made, please open the Administration Console, User Activity, then click the "In Last 7 Days" tab. The Printed Items column is what gets counted when printing PDFs.

    Do the electronic prints exceed the 2000 maximum per license?

    Thank you so much for your support,

    According to my research, the 2000 pdf limitation is related only to the Bartender 2020 and above, my license is 2019 R10 (As you can see in the image post).

    In addition, I took a look into my account under my user activity, and it shows "0" in the last 7 / 30 days

    Now that is strange, were you able to print at all before? If so, we could try to reset the Windows Services by going to the Windows Services tab in the BarTender Administration Console and then resetting the machine.

    If this doesn't do the trick we might need to reset the licenses directly; however, issues related to BarTender Licensing and Activations such as these will need to go through our regular support channels as we will need to gather your license information. If you have a Maintenance & Support agreement active with us, then you can reach us via web-form, chat, or phone. If not, we still have some regular support channels available to you.

    In order to access support, go to our Get Support page and enter your Support Number, this will automatically check your support status and provide you with links to your available lines of support. Also, please be sure to have your BarTender Support Number with you ready when you reach us as our technicians will have to check on your license and see what the status is from our side.
