The License Server has been detected as a network weakness, and the C++ and MICROSOFT SQL MANAGER must be updated. Can I update or delete it directly? Will it affect the database of BARTENDER?

  Hello Zack,

  If you are using BarTender 2019 R5 or later, then the SQL database is optional. Without a database, you can still run BarTender and print like normal, but you will lose access to some features such as logging. (Before BT2019 R5, the database is required for BarTender to function. You cannot delete it.)

  However, after SQL's been installed, you must be very careful when uninstalling it. Here are the instructions to follow:

  If you'd just like to update the database, you should use BarTender's built-in feature for that, after updating BarTender. Trying to use an older version of BarTender to connect to an updated database, some aspects may be read-only:
