Print direction at Intermec PC43t
Hello,
Printing from the browser cannot save the previous printing conditions. It is set to land escape every time. Changing the print orientation in the printer settings has no effect.
I installed the latest driver (version 2023.02).
Windows 10 (64bit), Browser : Microsoft Edge (112.0.1722.68)
Please Help me.
Best Regards,
M.Mamoru

Hi M. Mamoru,
Welcome to the BarTender Community!I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with saving printing conditions in your browser. Are you using BarTender Print Portal? If so, let's try a few troubleshooting steps to help resolve the problem:
-
Clear browser cache: Clearing the cache can often resolve issues with browser-based applications. In Microsoft Edge, you can do this by going to the browser settings, selecting "Privacy, search, and services," and clicking on "Choose what to clear" under the Clear browsing data section. Make sure to select "Cached images and files" and click on the "Clear" button.
-
Try a different browser: Sometimes, browser-specific issues can occur. Test printing with a different browser, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, to see if the problem persists.
-
Disable browser extensions: Browser extensions can interfere with the functioning of web applications. Temporarily disable any browser extensions you have installed and try printing again.
-
Check printer settings: Ensure that the printer settings are correctly configured. Open the Control Panel on your computer, go to "Devices and Printers", right-click on your printer, and select "Printer properties". Check the default printing preferences and ensure that the desired orientation (e.g., portrait) is set.
-
Reinstall BarTender Print Portal: Uninstall the current version of BarTender Print Portal, restart your computer and then reinstall the latest version from the official BarTender website. This may help resolve any potential software-related issues.
-
Update your BarTender Service Release: Perhaps you are using an outdated service release of our software. Please refer to this article in order to update your BarTender version with the latest patch, then try to see if this resolved the issue.
-
Contact Technical Support: If the issue persists after trying the above steps and you have an active Maintenance and Support agreement with us, we would recommend reaching us directly via our Get Support page. Remember to provide detailed information about your setup, the steps you have taken, and any error messages you have encountered when contacting our support technicians.
