Silent Install Productkey-Parameter Not Recognized
Hello everybody,
I want to roll out Bartender 10 SR1 on multiple Clients with Silent Install. It seems that the PKC-Parameter is not processed correctly.
Here is my full parameter-list /s /v" /qb ProductLanguage=1031 ADDLOCAL=BarTender,Commander,PrintStation PKC=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx"
When starting Bartender the first time, the Activation Wizard is launched and wants me to enter the product key code.
I searched the install-logfile and found this:
Property(S): LAUNCH_ACTIVATION_WIZARD = 0
Property(S): LAUNCH_DEACTIVATION_WIZARD = 0
Property(S): MY_LOG_FILE = BLANK
Property(S): Manufacturer = Seagull Scientific
Property(S): MsiLogging = voicewarmupx
Property(S): NS_ACCOUNT = 0
Property(S): PIDTemplate = 12345<###-%%%%%%%>@@@@@
Property(S): PKC = xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
Property(S): PRODUCTVERSION2 = 10.0.2845
Silent install of the initial v.10 Bartender-Suite worked wall with the same parameters.
Can anybody from Seagull confirm this problem?

Silent install is partially broken in v10.0 SR1, but this is now fixed in SR2 which we released a couple of days ago.

Okay thanks, the PKC-Parameter is working again with SR2.
But i ran into another Problem. I open another Thread for that.0 -
I have bartender suite 10.1 SR3. I try install client silently with parameters ADLOCAL=Bartender,Comander InstallDir=\"c:\Program files\Bartender" PKC=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx". It does not work if parameters InstallDir and PKC are together.
If I run commands separately with ADLOCAL it works, but all three parameters together no. Any idea ?0 -
Have in mind that the parameter is called ADDLOCAL, not ADLOCAL.
Try monitoring the installation by using the /qb parameter. Otherwise, you could also produce a log for the installation and attach it for us to examine (use the /L*v parameter for this).
