Security Centre And Active Directory
Hi,
I have been using the trial version to come up with a solution design around BarTender but do not have access to Securty Centre Help. Can you tell me please whether BT Security utilises Active Directory or not please?

Yes it does. You also need to be a local admin in order to run Security Center. Be sure to take a look at the white paper: http://www.bartenderbarcodesoftware.com/label-software/whitepapers/Barcode-and-Label-System-Security(English).pdf

I see this is an old topic, but it pertains to my situation.
My customer says they want to "Integrate BarTender with Active Directory". What does that mean? Is it just a matter of installing and implementing Security Center?

I just got a reply from tech support that says "I don't know that we do support integration with Active Directory". Above in this chain it says BT Security does utilize Active Directory. What's the right answer?

Read through the white paper and try Security Center for yourself. You'll find you have access to all users and groups in your active directory domain.
