Unwanted Printers In Sls Queue
Would someone teach me how to prevent ordinary paper printers (not label printers) from showing up and taking a spot in the license server queue?

Any printer you print to using BarTender goes through the SLS. Do you have users printing to a sheet-fed printer using BarTender? 0 -

I can't say for sure. I doubt if they would be doing that intentionally. What would happen if a paper printer was selected as the default and the label printer that was saved in the label format did not exist on that particular computer? Would BT print to the default in this case?0 -

I believe BT would select that printer at the time the document opens, but the user has the option to change it on the print dialog prior to printing. It should not hit the SLS just being opened - only when printed. As you may know, printers drop off your SLS list after 7 days, so you can also see the last time a printer was printed to - that may help narrow down if/when it's happening.0 -

Open SLS, see printer's list. there would be some label printers and perhaps some other printers.
check "Keep" on the label printers, so you can keep that printer, and prevent other printers to take SLS count.
If your printer is not shown in SLS, print from BarTender to the printer, so the printer would show up on SLS's printers list.0
