Hi - on your print prompt - the screen where you specify the number of identical and serialized copies, there is an Options button to the right of each value. Click the Options button and change your source to "Set By Data Source".

After this is done, click the Data Source tab that appears and you can change the serialized numbers to pull from a database, VB script, or other data source options. Does this get you far enough, or do you need further assistance?

I would attach a screenshot, but apparently I have used my "Global Upload Quota". Can a mod assist with this?

So you wish to print X number of serialized labels for each record that is selected for printing with the X being sourced from a field for each particular record?

Do this by opening the "Print" dialog and clicking the "Options" button next to the serialized print quantity. Choose the data sourced option and then select the "Data Source" tab that appears. Select the "Database" source type, select your field containing the quantity value and set the default value to 1. Click OK when done.

Note: Be sure to leave the number of identical copies to print to 1, unless of course you want multiple copies of the same serial number and database record.

Hmmm, I should have refreshed the page before answering. :)

nRyder: What is the exact error message that you are getting? If you're not able to attach a screenshot of that error, please send it by email to eurotech@seagullscientific.com so that I may take a look at it. Mark the email for the attention of Ian.

nRyder: I have created a new user group called "PowerMembers" and have made you the first member of it due to your general hard work and helpfulness. This user group has increased abilities over other mere mortal members, so you'll find that you can attach images again without being hampered by a low global quota.
