Printer in file being ignored

If you look in History Explorer you may see if any errors have been logged which could give you some pointers.

If the Integration cannot "see" the printer or gain access to it then it will use default printer or printer used to create the label format and so it could perhaps be a permissions issue. The integration will run using the credentials of the use account that runs the BarTender Print Scheduler service and by default this is the Local System Account and so this may not have sufficient rights to access network devices and locations and so you could try adjusting this to use a different account that has the rights (an admin account for example) and see if that now works.

    hi Peter

i changed the integration service & print schedule service  to use a domain admin account, but same issue.

i can print to each printer from bartender if i manually define the printer in  the integration - so i assume printer access is ok?

in history explorer all i get is below, but the file states /PRN="Citizen WMS Cabin 1"

BarTender successfully sent the print job to the spooler.

    Job Name: RcvLabel-V1_mr.btw
    Document: RcvLabel-V1_mr.btw
    Printer: Citizen IT WMS

ah so it turns out i need to use "Print command" rather than a "Print document"

    seems to work much better!
