Decimal Number To Fraction
Hi and good day to all! I am fairly new to this software and I really need help with this challenge I am encountering. I synced my EXCEL file to my Database Connection to have a sort of a continuous serialized printing. The problem that I have is that, my my fractions turns into decimal when I import the EXCEL database in my bartender. Is there a way for me to change the Decimal Numbers into fraction in the Bartender Software.

Yes, sounds like this may be an issue easier fixed in the Excel file than by some logic in the BarTender file.

Anyway, I change the cell formatting in Excel from decimal to fraction but comes to Bartender, when exported, numbers go back to it's decimal form.

Try going into your Excel file->Save As->Save as CSV (Comma Delimitation), and see if you can attach it. I believe that should work. My only worry is it may not keep all the original data in-tact.
You can also the excel file into our technical support, put "Attention Levi" for the subject.

Can you attach a screen shot of what you're seeing on your side? Is it anything like the screen shots i've attached?

Apparently, when I export my Excel file as a database, it converts the file back to decimal numbers format, instead of fraction.
Can I ask what type of excel file extension you used? Is it the CSV (Comma Delimitation) format?

I thought it was a little fishy, because BarTender will never convert your data for you when it brings it in.
Unless the Excel sheet is formatting the rows for you automatically, it should be staying as a fraction. Are you exporting this out of another program, into an Excel document? There really isn't a preferred method of file type, CSV works, but if you go that route you will need to add the database as a "Text" database, because that's what CSV is; comma separated value text file.
When you open your Excel document, is the data still in a fraction format?

Originally, the Excel document's content was in decimal format, and what I did was change the cell formatting to fraction.
Are you saying that, if the original file is in decimal form, It will remain the same in bartender, even if I formatted the cells as a fraction?

First, remember that there are a lot of "quirks" with using Excel as a data source. As it's not a true database program, and as you've realized, does do some of it's own re-formatting.
The value that goes into BarTender will be the value that is stored in Excel. However, Excel does not always display to you the "true" value of what's being stored. Especially if you have applied a format to it.
The best way to preserve the data as you like may be to use excel to first convert the values to fractions, then File > Save As the file as a .csv or .txt and import that newly saved file.
