License Server 7.0
I know, I know - we're years outside the support period for BarTender 7.0. I have an end-user complaining to me anyway that "It worked - now it doesn't - I'm not going to pay for a new version just because it stopped working."
[b]Is there a location for help documents related to this version of BarTender?[/b] I know this one has a hardware key for the server - but the customer is reporting installing it on a different computer (Windows XP) isn't letting it recognize the key. Is there a driver? Does the customer have to deactivate the software on the old server before attempting to move it.

I believe this has been resolved. End-user installed the driver and it seemed to work. My shortfall was not having access to installation instructions, and not being familiar with the hardware key setup. 0 -
Yes, remember that prior to v7.50 we used hardware keys only to activate the software. If they moved the license to a new computer away from a previously working set-up, then chances are they need to download and install the latest device driver for the hardware key. It could also be the case of course that the hardware key has failed. That is but one reason as to why we moved away from hardware keys on later versions. 0
