Error Opening File From Librarian
I get the following error: "File lib://filenam.btw does not exist. Verify that the correct file name was given." when I try to open a label format stored in Librarian, but only if I allow the preview to display. If I immediately double click the file, or click the Open button before the preview is displayed, the file opens correctly. Files stored locally open correctly whether or not the preview is displayed.
Any idea what could be causing this?

Hello,
Can you let us know what version and build of BarTender you are using by going Help > About.
Also, let us know what operating system you are using, including whether it is 32 or 64 bit.
I'd also like to know if the BarTender system database is running on same PC, or if it is running on a different machine.

Steve,
That's a pretty common setup, and I don't think we've seen anything like this before. I did another quick test now with a setup as you described and everything worked fine.
I think it might best if you contacted your closest regional support office so we can take a closer look at your machine. Support is free and you can contact us by email or phone here:

Look forward to hearing from you.
