Asp.net Print To Pdf
I have a asp.net application that creates a lable dynamically, it creates the label successfully and writes it to a directory then it prints to pdf and saves the file with autosave(PDF creator has the autosave option) in to the same directory the label has been created, it works fine when I run the application under visual studio built in iis server, when the application is hosted in IIS 7, my label gets created and saved to the proper directory but the PDF is not created, no errors are returned..... I have enabled Bartender logging and the following line stuck out to me:
1800 Information Network Trace OK PrinterName:"PDFCreator" PrinterModel:"PDFCreator" AllowPrint: -1
should the AllowPrint property = -1?
i am ccurrently using Bartender Automation ver 10.1 SR1, it is activated and connects to the license server..

The #1800 application message should only be used temporarily to diagnose network connectivity faults between BarTender and License Server. Generally speaking you should leave it deactivated. If you're worried about printer licensing check the status of printers listed in the License Server itself, or the BarTender log for message #1401 or in the License Server log the message #2201-#2204.
I recommend you update BarTender to the latest service release: http://www.bartenderbarcodesoftware.com/label-software/fixes_101.aspx
When printing to PDF via automation, using a PDF driver, specify a print job name as this is what will get used for the PDF file.

I've never had a problem printing to PDFCreator using Bartender. You can try CutePDF if you like, a Google search will find it easily enough..

Sorry about the name mix up, but you said you never had a problem printing to PDFCreator using bartender, is your appliation hosted in IIS or is it a console app/win form app? I can get it working when I use a console app or win form app, but once I host it in IIS it won't work.

I suggest you get in contact with tech-support for your region:

I've never tried in a web-app so cannot comment. Make sure you've set an application pool for your web app, that has adequate permissions over what is needed.

Hi Doro,
I am facing similar issue. I am not even able to print PDf correctly from my local machine itself.
I have tried several PDf printers but nothing working. When i contacted tech suport, they said they won't be able to help in code and to refer samples.
I have also pasted my code here: Please have a look at it and guide me what i am doing wrong here.:

I suggest you get in touch with tech support directly by email for your region, rather than just the forum. In this way we can investigate your issue in greater depth.
