Upgrade And Move To Different Server

We are successfully running License Server and Commander 7.75 on a Windows 2003 Server. We installed License Server and Commander 9.4 SR3 on a Windows 2008 64-bit server. We want to migrate the tasks running on 7.75 to the server running 9.4 SR3.

What steps should we follow?

  I do not have a 7.75 Commander task list to test with, but the tasks files you've created with Commander v7.75 should be compatible with the 9.4 version of BarTender. On the old computer, you will just need to look for your ".tl" files, which are the task list files for Commander, and then copy these files (together with your BarTender label format (.btw) files) to the new Windows Server 2008 computer.
  
  Start Commander on the new computer, choose to open a task list file via the "File > Open" dialog and select the .tl files from your old system. Open the properties of the tasks which you've created on this task list and revise the "Trigger" and "Commands" tab to make sure that the trigger files will be arriving at the correct folder and that the label format files are placed at the right folder.
