    Hi,

Recently, i have received a cases such as there are 2pcs of SLS (Seagull License Server) fall under one network and it affected my customer losing one printer license.

There have 2pcs of SLS in one network because of the office is sharing with other division and both parties also running Bartender and barcode printer.

It's there any solution able to point the printer refer the correct SLS license or in another way round by bartender set the printer ip address in the system or setting?

    Edition: Bartender Automation
    Version: 9.4
    Printer License: 10-Printer License

Seeking your help and hope to receive your favorable reply asap.

    Thanks,

In BarTender, you can specify the License Server location by selecting Administer, then Licensing Setup. You can put either an IP address or a machine name in the window and it will direct to that one instead of just trying to detect across the network.

Your best bet is to run each License Server on different network ports. Therefore keep on on the default 5160 port, but change the other to use port number 5161 via the "Help>General Options" menu item selecting the "Network" tab. Those BarTender clients that connect to this newly configured License Server would need to change the port number they use also to match. They can do this via the "Administer>Licensing Setup" menu item.
