Bartender Cannot Locate The Seagull License Server On Network.
Hi,
I've the license for 20 Printers. But i'm facing the error above while opening the bartender label file.
I've check the license and it shows i still have 11 printers to get things running.
While checking on the licensing setup and it prompt "Found the Seagull License Server on ...."
I've specified the License Server Ip Address and it still showed the same error everytime i open the bartender label file.
While testing using .net sdk on btEngine.LicenseServer.Connect() it connect successfully.
Would it be the License Server using window xp sp3(number of license<printer connection>) causing this kind of issue ?
Or do i need to upgrade my License Server Operating System to Server type Os.

What is the version/build of the BarTender/License Server software in use?
What is the Windows versions for the PC running BarTender and License Server?
In the "Licensing Setup" dialog in BarTender, deselect the auto-find feature and instead try entering in the IP address or host name of the computer running License Server.
Be sure to answer my first two questions fully.

Both Bartender and License Server version is 9.10 build 2617.
Both Bartender and License Server is using winxp sp3.
(Sorry as i do not know how to attached pictures...)
I've tried deselect the checkbox for the auto-find feature and entering the ip address of the license server, but it still prompt out message 3405 "Bartender Cannot Locate The Seagull License Server On Network..." everytime i open a label file and also try to print.
I've to deactivate bartender and activate again using the product key code and now it wouldn't show up the message 3405.
Not sure what happen but let me monitor for few days if any problem arise....
