Dropdownlist Excel
I looked through the other topics but non seem to help me. I have already attached an excel database to bartender using the built in function. The test query within the database menu is able to pull in all the data. There is only one field with no headers. Once it is attached this way do I still need to use a connection string. How do I call it by its alias. When I try the simple Value = Field("Sheet1$.Sheet1") I get errors.

The title for this topic says "Dropdownlist Excel", but I'm not sure if you're really wishing to show your database fields content into a drop-down list control in BarTender. Is that what you're trying to achieve?
You mention as well that in your Excel spreadsheet, there is one field without "field name". Did you let BarTender choose the field name automatically?
Could you perhaps attach the BT document (and spread sheet if possible) to this topic and give further details as to what you're trying to achieve?

Thanks for the reply. I ended up getting it through access instead.
