License expired
I am currently using the free version of Bartender 2022 R8. It's been working fine but today is says my license is expired. When I go to the administration console, it says it expired 09/01/2024.
My understanding is that the free version doesn't expire, but it says it is.

I have received the following message several times in the last few weeks.
Hi Harald,
BarTender® Free Edition reached End of Life (EOL) on August 31st, 2024.
Our records indicate you were operating with a BarTender Free Edition product, which ceased to operate on August 31st, 2024.
Additionally, BarTender Free Edition reached End of Support (EOS) on June 30th, 2024. As a result, you no longer have access to technical assistance or receive new security updates.
To avoid disruptions to your teams, processes, and overall supply chain, upgrade to a supported edition of BarTender today.0 -
I believe the Free edition reached its end of life on the 31st August this year and no longer exists and so you will need to update to a full licence to carry on printing.

I also encountered same issue. Hope they can fix this issue so that we can continue used their software or hope the can give us the solution how to fix it

Have not heard anything.
I know they read my original message because I had added my support number in the message, which they since removed.
Doesn't make sense. They say the free version is non-expiring, but it does expire.

To clarify, BarTender Free Edition reached its End of Life (EOL) on August 31, 2024. Xabier- don't you think it would have been a good idea to, maybe say, let everyone know ahead of time that this was taking place, so it doesn't put us in a bind??
We were actually contemplating on purchasing the Pro version for a few additional features over the free version, but after this, I do believe I'll rethink on this, seeing how it works now..

The same happened to me. Now I cannot open my existing labels so I can export to another file format. BarTender has hijacked all my labels. This is extortion!
