can't connect to license server 2016 R5
Hello everyone
I am helping users with Bartender 2016 R5. The software is activated. Bartender can't connect to license server. Other users aren't affect by it.
user works from home by vpn.
I can't ping server IP as administrator.

Is port 5160 open on the firewall as that could be blocking Licence Server?

I don't think firewall is blocking license server. I have another error: Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider is not registered on the local machine. I already installed access database 2016 64bit.
Bartender 2016 was working fine until this error popup.

The second error is to do with database connections and it sounds like you may need to install the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) to fix that although that will not be effecting the connection to the licence.

user bought the new bartender 2022. the activation key code is correct. I can ping the license server but bartender can't connect to license server from software.
do you have a solution ?

In Administration Console > Licencing, on the PC/Server that holds the licence, check that the Server Access is set to Everyone and Everywhere
